Matthieu has a dynamic, track record career reflecting pioneering expertise in High-Tech and eCommerce.
Matthieu grew up in France where he earned a Master in Marketing, Logistics and distribution from ISC Paris.
Matthieu began his technology career in 2002 working at Dell’s Computer EMEA Headquarter (United Kingdom) as a Regional Country Manager for West/Central Africa & French overseas. In 30 months, he earned 400% growth ($48 M Annual Sales) and was recipient of Dell’s Yearly performance award (2004) for achieving best margin & revenue among European Distribution Business segment.
Then, in 2005, he flew to Moscow in order to open the first DELL Computer online store in Russia where he spearheaded joint venture partnership between Ozon.ru (1st Russian e-Commerce Site) and Compudirect.ru (PPE Group). Additionally, he launched new IT informational portals in collaboration with VNU Media Europe & Gawker Media (ITnovosti.ru & RU.gizmodo.com).
Getting used to cold weather, Matthieu moved to Canada in 2007 and spent 2 years in championing strategic positioning and sales of custom PDF software for a Montreal-based startup, Interactive Brands, growing sales from $5.7M in 2007 to $14M in 2008, achieving 245% YOY increase.
In 2009, Matthieu chose California (United States) to benefit from an « internet business friendly environment » always looking for more entrepreneurial challenges. Matthieu is proud to be an eCommerce Activist, trying to persuade people to change their behavior while dealing with eCommerce!
